    I used to live in a house in Brisbane prior to moving to Sunnymeade Park Retirement Village four years ago.
    I looked at several villages but Sunnymeade Park was by far the most attractive village I looked at.
    The proximity to shops, golf course and medical centres was a big plus and I found that the fees were affordable.
    Life has certainly become easier since moving to Sunnymeade Park. I like not having to worry about home and garden maintenance, and I really like my new social life. I enjoy playing scrabble, indoor bowls and bridge with other residents, as well as walking and swimming in the heated pool.
    I live in an Independent Living Unit and I like the architectural design of the villa. It also has high ceilings and large covered outdoor area which make it feel light and airy.
    My advice to someone who is considering moving to Sunnymeade Park is take your time to visit several villages; check the details of the contract you are signing; and fully embrace the life of the village.
    Don’t wait until your too old to enjoy all of what there is to do.
