  I am absolutely discussed in the way my lil boy was treated my the emergency department of the Caboolture Hospital on thursday 27th july 2017.
  
  On sunday the 23rd of july we took our 3 year old boy to the super clinic in caboolture causes he had a prickle in his heel. They got it out and were we told he would be fine after. Monday take the dressing off.
  Still couldn't not put weightbear on his heel sunday night i guessed in was still alittle painful for him.
  
  Monday afternoon i took the dressing off but looked at it and knew sometime was wrong. Rang my gp at caboolture atichs booked a appointment tuesday morning for him and covered his foot back up.
  
  Tuesday we went to the caboolture atichs the nurses and doctor took the dressing off his heel and said that there a abscess on his heel. We got referred to the caboolture hospital. The caboolture hospital drained the abscess and put new dressing on, give us antibiotics and said book a appointment at your gp for thursday and get your gp to change the dressing.
  
  Thursday morning we went to the gp said we are heading back to the hospital will most likely be admitted due to his foot has cellulitis on his heel. His heel is considerably more erythematous and has considerable amounts of pus coming out his incision site, along with inguinal LAD and inability to weightbear. Possible admission for IVABs.
  
  We arrival at the hospital the doctor changed the dressing and sent as home. I wasn't happy at all with the way they treated him. So i went back to my gp and told him what happen and said to me if he was in my shoes he would get a second opinion.
  
  Thursday night about 7pm i arrived at the prince charles ed with my little boy. We were there because the erythema of his heel was not improving and my little boy was refussing to fully weight bear on his left heel. The doctors and staff were amazing. They removed all the loose and dead skin for his heel.
  
  On examination he was afebrile and looked systemically well. A large blister 5x5cm on his left heel was debrided. There was underlying erythema. He was admitted for iv antibiotics overnight. The following morning there was a significant clinical improvement and an ultrasound showed no evidence of a retained foreign body or a drainable collection. The doctor changed his oral antibiotics and he was tolerating very well.
  We were allowed to come home friday afternoon.
  
  Our little boy was diagnosed cellulitis -lower limb. We have him on new antibiotics which he is happy to take. Seeing the gp again monday
